Spring has officially arrived in Oxford and as a result, here are some of my exploits over the past few weeks:
Hearing Malcolm Gladwell talk at the New Theater! (Not particularly spring-like, I guess, but quite exciting nonetheless).
Venturing to new parts of Oxford, such as Cowley Road (otherwise known as the best place for ethnic food), and Port Meadow, pictured above.
Pimms at Turf Tavern with visitors!
Exploring London's beautiful parks.
Posing for Rick Steves-themed photos on a six-mile walk through London.
Day-tripping to Brighton...
...the ultimate British seaside escape.
And finally, punting in Oxford--which is harder than it looks.
But enjoyable nonetheless!
On a less exciting note, term is officially starting to wind down (or up, depending on who you talk to). I had my second to last tute today for General History 17. Next week, I'll write one paper for each tute, and then head to Amsterdam for a long weekend...returning with two weeks of term and only one paper left to write.
It's the beginning of the end.
