Well, I'm home, I guess.

That's never the way I expected to start this entry, which I've thought about for two or three months now. I was going to give you the typical (if there is a typical?) post-study-abroad-run-down: I'm back, I love my home, I miss England, etc., etc.

I'm at the library now and it's gorgeous outside. Blue sky, perfectly sunny, maybe 70 degrees. I want to be outside, not at a desk, outlining the essay which I will spend today writing.
But at least I'm not a finalist, because then I'd never see the light of day. Using the term "spring break" at Oxford is a bit silly. Or at least, that's the impression I've gotten from my British friends. This is true for several reasons.

I had been wanting to go for ages, since it's supposed to be just beautiful, and is also the birthplace of everyone's favorite Prime Minister, Winston Churchill.

Back in Seattle, after a 7.5 hour flight to Boston, 3 great days with friends, and a 6 hour flight to Seattle.

It was so good to be at Tufts, but bizarre too. I didn't anticipate how BIG the campus would feel; after all, Pembroke is tiny, both in terms of square footage and student population. 13 papers (or roughly 120 pages double-spaced, or about 28,000 words*)
Probably 70-80 books checked out from the library...maybe even close to 100... (the shortest of which was just under 300 pages, the longest of which was over 800).
